My 14yr loves it has a lot of roomI'll preface this review by saying that I just received this a week ago - and i promise to update it after a year or so.First impressions: the zippers are robust - no indication of cheapness - i sense they will last many, many years. There are many pockets for gear, enough to divide up your accessories and all that. There's room for 4 bats, and a main compartment where I comfortably keep 2 large gloves, a Rip-It mask, batting gloves, and like 6 balls. There's room for a little more in that main compartment. The shoe compartment is separate, at the foot of the bag, and comfortably fits my size 13 cleats. The bag has 2 parallel fence hooks, and also a "center" loop if you'd like to hang this in a shed on an installed hook (as i do). The pockets are plentiful (but not TOO many to annoy) and generous in size. The shoulder straps are robust and adjustable. Also, it's worth noting that the bag stands on its own on the floor.Prior to this, I had bought a Miken bag for $20 less (I like their bats, so gave them a chance) and was immediately disappointed in the zipper quality, how the interior space was divided, and overall cheapness of the fabric, etc. I Immediately returned it and went with Boombah (I'd used Boombah in the past, and a prior Boombah bag had lasted me about 10 years). Suffice it so say I'm now a Boombah guy moving forward. The quality of this bag is impressive. This bag is big enough for normal baseball gear and catchers gear. My 11 year old has no problem with the size or weight even when loaded. Also, if you have any questions about anything, the company is quick to respond and very helpful. My son loves this bag. Much more than the duffle bag option and standard bat bags. He plays for his high school and brings extra equipment with him (i.e. 2 bats, turf shoes, 2 gloves, weights, etc.). So this bag is great and gives him enough room. It is pretty big and may be too big for young or smaller players. He is 5'10" and it looks a little big on him.I know its a "softball" bag, but we use it for my daughters martial arts gear and its perfect to hold all her sparring gear as well as her weapons. The bag is surprisingly light and easy to carry. Be warned, the front panel of the pocket unzips compketely and is sent on the inside of the bag. We almost didnt find it as it had slipped under the reinforced bottom. My son (HS Senior +Travel baller) is harsh on equipment and has tried all the other mainstream bags. They all had pros and cons design-wise, but all suffered rips, tears and /or failed zippers. The Boombah Superpack is hanging tough 6 months into its life. The large size of this bag in a benefit in our eyes, but might be unwieldy for a Farm or Minors Little Leaguer.I sent several softball ? backpack bags bag. This one was by far and away the very best. Holds everything. This bag is HUGE! My grandson (age 12) has 2 baseball mitts, batting gloves, batting helmet and a few balls in the top compartment and there is PLENTY of room for more! The compartment in the bottom of the bag for cleats has more than enough room for his size 12 cleats! There are so may compartments for sunglasses etc and I was skeptical about there being room for 2 bats per sleeve, but all 4 of his bats fit great. Playing for 3 different teams this fall, he needs all the room he can get for all his gear and this bag offered it!
