A whimsical interpretation of an echo wave has been brought to life in crystal with this design, as a mirror of reflective waves of glass travel up the sides of the objects forming an echo wave of perfect rhythm and harmony. As early as 1726, Lars Johan Silversparre received permission to build a furnace and a smithy at "the beautiful river that flows into Lake Orrenas". The iron works was given the name Orrefors, which means "the Orre waterfall".
